This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from Clara Nutrition (www.claranutrition.com.au).

Payment Information

When you make a purchase, your payment is processed securely by our third-party payment processors (such as Shopify Payments and Stripe). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers. Payment information is transmitted directly to our payment processors using industry-standard encryption.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Yotpo Inc (SMSBump) provides our SMS marketing platform. Your phone number, name, and purchase information may be shared with Yotpo for sending targeted marketing messages and notifications.
  • Payment processors such as Shopify Payments and Stripe process your payment information securely.

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Overseas Disclosure

Some of our third-party service providers are located overseas, including in the United States and Israel. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the disclosure of your information to these overseas recipients. We take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Behavioural Advertising

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. SMS Marketing

By opting-in for our text marketing and notifications, you agree to the following terms. By entering your phone number in the checkout and initialising a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form, or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers.

You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase. Your phone number, name and purchase information will be shared with our SMS platform SMSBump, owned by Yotpo Inc.

This website uses cookies to keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

To unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications, reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link provided within any of our messages. Message and data rates may apply. For any questions, please text "HELP" to the number you received the messages from.

Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter our Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Your payment information is processed using industry-standard encryption and we do not store your full credit card details.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
